Sure!

Standing holding a barbell or curl bar as if you were going to do standard barbell curls (so back straight, chest out, hips tucked in; bar will be sitting on upper quads; use the same grip you would in a barbell bicep curl).

Motion: Instead of curling in the "1/2 moon" shape... you're going to slowly DRAG the bar along the front of your body as high as you can go. If you can get to the bottom of the "girls", that's suitable. When you reach this point, your elbows should be pulled back. Maybe hold here for a moment and then slowly drag the bar back down to starting position.

It just hits the bicep from another angle. Many people have a hard time not "cheating" on standard curls (because they swing too much, don't keep the elbows steady, use their back -- and all this takes the work off the biceps and places it more onto your back or forearms), so this is a good alternative to switch it up with.

If you want to superset it with something, it works well too because you can use a portable barbell or the Smith machine (since it's not a rotation motion -- just up and down).

The pictures are totally amazing. Nothing wrong with looking a little tired during a tri.

Thanks for the explanation, T-Cake. It almost sounds like a combo curl and row but in a totally different position. I could see that working the arms and back. Going to give these a try. Is it too easy to cheat with DB?

Hmm -- I don't know if it'd be too easy to cheat so much as the DBs would just be too bulky. Using a barbell, the weights are on the end and don't interfere with the dragging... the dumbbells just might be... awkward? Not impossible, just awkward; might make the movement less linear because they are more likely to shift side to side as you drag them... but I've never given it a shot, so it can't hurt!
