Ended up taking today off too. My beagle hurt herself somehow, spent most of the night yelping in pain every time she moved. So, I packed her in the car and took her to the vet. Somehow she did something to her neck. She is better this afternoon with muscle relaxers and steroid treatments. I hate to see her in pain, she is like my little kid! I left her for a couple of hours to go to the gym. Got my chest workout in. Not posting numbers because they are embarassing, my chest is SOOOOO weak. I really need to work on that. I was thinking of training it twice a week to see if that makes a difference or not. I have to do something, it is pathetic! Didn't get a chance to run last night with the beagle being hurt and everything, will do so tonight and tomorrow morning.

about the 'number' for your chest workout..post them !!! it does NOT matter what weight you use compared to anyone else ..it matters compared to what YOU used the last time you did it the log is for you to track your progress..not just for us to look at you know

If you gave it your all but only used 2lb DBs I would still be proud of you

Oh, honey, i'm sorry about your pup. I hope she's doing better and gets well soon.

Way to get in a workout though. When I''m in emotional distress it's VERY difficult for me to make myself get my ass to the gym. So good for you.

And dont' worry about having weak chest numbers. It can only get better from here!

Hope your little doggie is alright.
Weak is relative, I'm sure your stronger than quite a large percentage of people.

This is very true, the numbers are for my tracking. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Thanks for the encouragement!

The pup is feeling much better now. She is moving around without yelping. I am glad she is doing better. She rolled over for me to pet her belly this morning, which tells me she is doing much better this morning. Just a few more days on the steroids and she will be back to normal!

Ok, so here's my chest workout, sad as it may be.
(weight, sets, reps
BB bench press
85x2x10
95x2x8

DB incline chest press
25'sx3x10

Butterfly machine
50x3x10

chest press machine
70x3x10

ugh, I need to do more for my chest that is for sure.

Good for you for getting it done, regardless of how that poor little doggie is feeling.
The numbers will only get better from here. Don't be ashamed, as Crofty has already said, this log is for you to track yourself.
We are just here to encorage you along the way.
Hell girl, we are still proud of you no matter what!!!!

glad to hear your 4-legged baby is on the mend. Mine is stretched out across my lap trying to sleep while I type....he's a tad bit spoiled

Glad to see you posted your numbers. My numbers suck azz but I post 'em anyway. This log is for you and we're glad you are sharing it.

Tonight is a scheduled night off. I lift 6 days a week, have to take one night off! Tomorrow is my cheat meal day but I think I am going to pass this week. I don't really want to screw up any progress I have made by eating junk. I work to hard to screw it up! The beagle is doing much better. One of these days I will post a picture of her so everyone can see how sweet and cute she is. She just got her medication so she isn't happy with me right now, LOL.

I just gotta say them leg curls and DB shrugs are rockin! Excellent. When I pick up the 40s and start shrugging well I get the look. Nice work there.. You are pretty strong and have great goals that you can attain. Work hard, focus and keep your eye on that target.

White chocolate because you’re both regal and velvety smooth. You speak, walk, and talk a good game and people are rewarded with your smooth and inviting persona. People may not necessarily crave you ALL the time, but when they are in the mood for white chocolate, they will damn near sell an organ for a taste of you. Or donate an organ. A big organ

Today I did my back. I must make it a point to train my forearms more, they are hindering my workouts I have found. I know I could have done more weight, but my forearms tired before I could get to my 10th rep on a set. I will have to train them more often and with more intensity.
(weight, sets, reps)

Seated cable row
150x3x10

Lat Pulldown, wide grip
85x3x10

Lat pulldown, close & reverse grip
85x3x10

BB bent over row, reverse grip
55x3x10

Single are row
40x3x10

Cardio
30 minutes stationary bike

I have to build up my forearms before trying the pendlay rows. They look interesting but know I will be limited. Tomorrow is leg day, my favorite!

I see you are working hard in here!

You can pick up a lot of accessory forearm work by the following: After your heavier working sets of anything...DB flat bench, lunges, etc hold the DB's, or BB on deads or shrugs, till your forearms are on fire and you wanna cry for
