Default Going DARKER

I am dying my hair today, FULL head lol. I was gonna go with blue black but picked up the jet black instead. I usually go with soft black and it comes out pretty dark. Just figured I would give the darker a try, next time the blue black....

Do you girls find that you change your color up or darken more in the Fall?

I know what you mean. I just went darker with a semi a few weeks ago. There just something about the fall/winter (darker) vs. spring/summer (lighter).

I tried the highlights years back... its just too much maintenance for me. I have alot of grey hair and usually dye it 2xs a month. So its much cheaper for me to go to my natural color.

I had my hair dyed dark brown for an event in August and I love it. My natural color is a 5, and if I've dyed it myself, I always stayed within 5. The salon went with a 4. I'm definitely going to dye it darker again soon.

Please take before and after pics

My hair lightened so much from all the beach time that I am more of a strawberry blonde than a medium red now. I would love it to be darker, but I don't have the nerve to dye my hair.

W/ light hair you have to be really careful - you can dye it to darker colors but you have to bleach it to lighter colors. Even when I've toyed w/ the idea of the semi-permanent colors I've been told not to because it will probably stay.

I've been a blond all my life, but just turned to brown & love it! Actually looks better with my skin tone than the blonde.....

I won't touch it...the most I have ever done to my hair is highlights, but winter is gonna have to make it darker .
