Need opinion on competition suits

Hi girls!
I'm competing in fitness figure (amateur) in two weeks and since I've seen you know a lot about competitions, I would like to know something about suits.
I'm decorating my 1piece swimsuit and the color bikini. The first one I decorated with acrilic beads that look nice with light. But I've heard so much about suits being decorated with swarovsky cristals. Is there really much difference about using swarovski on stage? or using acrilic beads?

I don't know much about the acrylic approach but most of the people I know who do their own suit decoration use the Swarovsky crystals. You can buy them in bulk to be cost efficient.
