I have the exact opposite problem.. funny how that works. Either way you're getting the job done and that's something to be real proud of. I hope your fitness enthusiasm starts rubbing off on more people around you, they don't know what they're missing.

My Method

Week 10, Workout 1

23.2.08, 16:25 – 17:45

3 minute w-up on Round 2 of my cold is here, so I have a tuffed head. My friggin teef hurt from the sinus pressure.

Squats: 1 RM - 400, 5 RM – 350
5X90
5X175
5X265
5X345
5X350
4X355
10X235.

Not bad. Couldn’t quite pull it out for a 5th on the new 5RM attempt. I might’ve, but I felt a little twinge in my left lower back. It was alright for the back off set.
I also did 4 sets of 15 Incline sit ups between working sets.

A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Bench Press: 1 RM - 290, 5 RM – 260
5X60
5X125
5X190
5X250
5X255
4X260
10X195.

Getting close to 5RM. Couldn’t quite get it.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

DB Rows: 1 RM - 90, 5 RM – 80
5X20
5X40
5X60
5X80
5X80
6X80
11X60.

No more new 5RMs here. I only have DBs to 80#.
Don't be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Incline DB Press: 1 RM - 90, 5 RM – 80
5X20
5X40
5X60
5X80
5X80
6X80
8X60.

No real PRs yet, but I’m adding reps.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Synopsis
Short of time & energy. I’ll be back up to par by next week. Thankfully the sinus pressure wasn't exacerbated by the lifting.

5.5 litres of water today.

I wore my pedo today & only walked 5 1/4 km. I'd guess an average day then would be about 5 1/2 - 6 km.

Instead of doin fullout tread work, I'll do some complexes, then some fast walking on the tread. Still sweat & burn, but without the heavy lung burnage.
