Default What are the best bodybuilding friendly cities?

The the town I live in absolutely sucks for bodybuilding or fitness in general, for that matter. I don't know if there is such a thing as a good city/cities for bodybuilding. But,if there are such places, what are they?

I agree CA and Florida are the most body conscious I've seen.

That's pretty much what I figured, too. What other areas do you guys think would be on such a list? I mean, I live in the southeast which couldn't less bodybuilding oriented. Pretty much anything would be an improvement.

From simply an excellent collection of serious gyms

and gear friendly individuals and gyms. My perspective would be from Venice Beach down to Mexico.

That's a pretty small area. LOL. Do you really think that the rest of the nation could, to such an extent, give a shit less about body appearance?

I think in general even in places like FL, CA, there are very few people who are in REALLY good shape... I mean if your chest is bigger than your gut you are a rare item I think... Of course then you have the naturally rail skinny people who pride themselves on their half ass abs and 12" arms... but I think that stops after they are about 25 at the latest i think.

Let alone someone that is VERY conscious and is trying to compete or really push their bodies, then you are in an even smaller subset of the fitness group.

So that being said, I think its just about finding people that share your passion.

I'd hate to think that were it, but you make a good argument.
