Yea, thats so true about them waiting till things get hot and then they come banging on the door. I hate it cause it always kills the mood for my wife.
But open communication is awlays healthy and positive. I, as a step parent [and parent] have to practice just listening a lot and only give advice if asked for. I have a 17 and 14 year old step daughter.And a 10 y/0 boy. Ive been around the girls for 13 years, but, its still difficult.

With boys, you can generally advise them. Girls, not so much. Took me a while to figure that out.

Nothing quite as funny as hearing our teenage daughter yelling at us to "STOP IT!" from the other room!

I am pretty sure we laughed and got louder...A simple and effective payback for all the pain and suffering she put us through

Yet another reason for a kid to own an iPod!

Yeah, my girl walked in on my wife and i, she was 5 at the time. We just kinda rolled over and covered up. Embarresed though.

We looked up from what we were doing & she was standing there with her blankie. "Watcha doin?" She was around 4 or 5.
Fortunately we were covered up, I just said I was tickling mommy.

LOL A while back I had a female friend over to my house. I dont let many women that I have dated meet my kids so thats why I waited untill I was sure that they were sleeping. Well she came over and we tried to watch a movie but that never works. We couldnt keep our hands off of each other. So we retired to my bedroom... I went and closed both of the kids doors and made sure that they were sound asleep... Then I shut my door and we went at it.... About 20-25 minutes in to it I hear my door open and my daughter says "Daddy whats that noise" OMG I jumped up and said go back to bed sewwtie its ok.......... Then the next day when grandma was watvhing the kiddos my daughter told my mom that I was in med with a naked girl last night.... Talk about uncomfortable.....
