I picked up dog poop in our backyard so that 1) my fiance could mow the law without doing that first, 2) the guys building the house next door didn't have to see or smell it, and 3) our new neighbors down wind didn't smell the poop along with the dead skunk near by.

Mind you, we have 5 dogs, 3 over ~85 pounds; I get nauseous from the smell of their crap (dog food, grass, wetness... ick); and this is a chore that I was promised I'd never have to do again. Yuck!!

A guy on our softball team has a 10 year boy that has already reached his maximum potential to be an asshole. He always refers to me as ... old man, gramps, fossil, etc. I enjoy it coming from my buddies, but not from this disrespectful little turd. So my good deed was NOT to trip his pudgy little ass, or eat his whole bag of gummy worms, or sprinkle sand on his ice cream cone when he lays it to rest on my bat bag.... mostly because I did that stuff last week. So that was my good deed .

Hmmm, might be better to set him straight once & for all so he can grow up to be a respecting, productive part of society.

I donated $100 to cancer research. It was my grandmothers birthday the day they were having this auction for it so i called and donated under her name since she died of stomach cancer and meant an awful lot to me thru my life.

Well I did my good deed for the week last night. (on the way home from the gym) There was an old guy broke down in the at 119th and Antioch right in the middle of the intersection. It was around 6:30 or so, so it was kind of busy. No one was stopping to help him just driving around him and honking ect. So I pulled my truck off the side of the road and then ran over to where he was, he said it was just dead and he didn't know why(newer car) So I had him get in and steer while I pushed his car over to the shoulder(a construction area) so he was totally out of the way. He had someone about 5 min away coming to get him so he was fine in that regards. But it was pretty disappointing that no one would stop and help a what looked like 70-80 y/o man and only wanted to drive by and honk when it was obvious he was broke down and having issues.

Failure is not a sin. It’s being too afraid to even try, that is a sin.

The other day when I left work, it was raining. There was a guy walking down the street with 2 little kids and didn't have an umbrella. I gave hime my golf umbrella to keep the kids dry.
Kids have a special place in my heart!

nothing too crazy, but I was pulling out of my neighborhood and there was a turtle crossing the road that almost got smashed by a 7 series. so I picked him up and helped him get across the road a little faster.
