Hi from Texas

Hi, AF.

I've been glancing at your board a bit and thought I'd sign up. I know BigDamRay, RagingBull, and a few others here.

A little about me... I've been powerlifting since 2005 inconsistently, but not by choice exactly. I started lifting and was involved in a car accident which required a few surgeries and school was cramping my training. Now that school is over and I'm relatively fixed, I'm back. No meets under the belt as of yet, unfortunately, and no definite plans for one yet... just training and having fun getting stronger. For the most part, I'm back to what I was capable of pre-accident, if not better.

More genertic stuff about me... I recently moved to Texas, from Arizona where I was born and raised. I got my undergrad degree from ASU and finished grad school last year at a small Arizona school that's based in Missouri. I am getting married in October to the most wonderful man, whom I met through powerlifting and I have 5 dogs and 2 cats (yes, you read that right).

I think that's all... maybe. If not, ask away.

I don't know if Shank fits me anymore though. That was pre-accident. The story behind the name is just not accurate anymore.

And, G-Rex will marry me if I total elite or just bench 315 the rest of my life, so that won't happen. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, the 315 bench was EASY!! He says I had another 30-40 pounds that day easy, even after all I'd done to get there.
