My guess is similar, but I am just speculating as well. If you watch the weigh-ins for the event on the link below, it looks as though ken didn't even train at all for this fight. That makes me wonder if he was going to fight at all or if his name was used just to hype the event.

Why did Ken pull out exactly ? i dont really follow elitexc since they got on the Kimbo bandwagon and became a sideshow of hopeless freaks. Glad his badwagon is atleast temporarily derailed anyway.

He hasn't been that cocky at all in mma maybe in his street fight videos. He's never claimed to be the best or even one of the best. Like any fighter the more drama or hype you cause the more money you can put in your pocket.
