Default Anybody watch UFC Fight Night tonight??? (spoilers)

It was pretty good.

Houston Alexander lost, Guida beat Danzig, Diaz beat neer. I can't remember the other 1 or 2 fights for some reason

Nice FREE showing

I thought Ed won the fight on take downs, but he shure took a lot of good punches (which must have been the deciding factor)

Ya, really SUCKED that Houston lost. God I wish he would concentrate more of his training on ground/ground defense. He looked so lost/helpless once Shaeffer got him down. He needs to get out of that Mui Thai gym for a bit and train with some BJJ black belts for a little while.
Did you see that sick standing heal hook that Lauzon through from the clinch?? That was insane. Never seen that done before.
Tough loss for Danzig.. thats gonna hurt. Glad to see Guida win though, love that guy!
I thought Herman won as well but the fight was too close..
I also thought Neer won that fight.. he got robbed. I had it two rounds to one, for Neer.
Drew Mcfedries lost again.. not good for him. Too many losses in the UFC now.. Sucks because he's another that could be great if he worked more ground defense.

I thought Herman got shafted but it wasn't a blowout that's for sure. I really liked how gracious and humble ALL of the fighters were last night. No crazy bravado. Nothing but respect for their competitors. It was very good.

Yeah, I thought Herman grinded out the win over that last round. I had it 1 each going into the 3rd, and I thought he nudged the last round for the win.

Dang, I didn't see the Lauzon fight??

Clay Guida is an awesome guy to watch fight. Nothing but heart coming from him. I don't know him all that well, but from what I have seen over the years, how can anybody NOT like him? He seems like a cool dude. His brother totally screwed himself by not making weight for that Ultimate Fighter show....that was unreal. I can't see how anybody would come that out of shape for a chance of a lifetime opportunity

I still had Diaz over Neer. Neer seemed off to me for some reason. LOL, diaz has a fowl mouth. That was a good fight though. I still think a stronger opponent will dominate Diaz until he builds a little more strength through maturation. But that kid keeps griding out victories regardless.

I think Danzig will learn from this loss. Guida just wore him out, he was gasping for air by the second round.

Caught that, it didn't disappoint. I bet the UFC is pissed that Danzig lost - but in that loss, they gain a rising star in Guida. I also think Diaz is just getting better and better each fight ... I love seeing progress in fighters. And he and his brother crack me up - the type of guys you can just listen to all night and crack up.

Anyone else looking forward to Bisping v. Leben? I'm a big Leben fan, I'm pulling for him.
