pasted from the original article... check the last sentence:

As part of a new three-fight contract with Zuffa LLC, parent company to the UFC, Couture (16-8) will face Brock Lesnar (Pictures) (2-1) at UFC 91 on Nov. 15 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The bout will be waged over five rounds for Couture’s heavyweight championship title.

That should be an entertaining fight. But with Lesnar only having 2 UFC fights, he gets a title shot?

Well that just sucks ass then !!! Firstly as evidence so rightly pointed out , what the hell justifies a title shot for a guy with only 2 fights . And why the hell is the guy who apparently fought for and won the interim title no in this fight ?? This commiting fighters to the damn TUF show at all costs is bullshit . The TUF series basically has the interim champ and the guy who absolutely smashed the guy getting the title shot ?? WTF

Here is the question - HOW does Randy win this?

Submission? Doubtful
KO? Never
TKO GNP? Less likely
3/5 Round Decision? Only chance

I'll take Brock Via Higher Salary and Heath Herringesqe beat down.

Another thing to keep in mind as well, is that Randy has always had a hard time with larger guys....and Brock is pretty big

Well, there was Gonzaga and Sylvia though I guess....hmmmm.....nevermind me...lol.

Well, as always, I always just go by my gut feeling on things, but I really think that Brock is just too powerful and explosive for Randy. I doubt he'll be able to push Brock around with dirty boxing like he did with Gonzaga too.

Sylvia stayed up on the feet because he had no game ground. Brock will stand with Randy, but if he starts losing in that part, he's not afraid to take it to the ground.

I don't see Randy submitting Brock either.

That's all I can really add. I think Randy needs to watch for the initial fury of Brock, that is for sure, because his last 2 fights he came out to kill.....even though he lost to Mir in 1 of them.

The longer the fight goes, I think it favors Randy.

I stated i'd never go against Randy again......unless it was fedor or somebody like Chuck, but Brock is just a powerful guy imo....

Oh well....should be interesting I guess to hear all the strategies between now and then.

No way i go with Brock ... the guy is an asshat and i refuse to back him . Randy has pulled through against the odds before and will do it again .... the one and only thing worrying me about randy is the long lay off . Randy is no heath herring i think brock will have a much harder time taking him down . Least i hope he will .

For the record....i'm rooting for Randy for sure....not sure if that was apparent in my weak analysis above...lol.

Luca, I hope he wins too, then that will bring Mike Miller right up for the next challenge for the HW belt...lol

Sorry Mikey, had to throw a jive in their

I am a Brock Lesnar fan, he's a big strong guy with a lot of athletic ability. But it's almost impossible to root against Randy Couture. The guy has done virtually nothing give his heart into a very long and successful wrestling career and mma career. He's like the blue colar mascot for mma. He works hard and keeps his mouth shut and stays out of the hype. I like guys like that.

I wish so much for Randy to win , you know as good as Randy is as a fighter the thing i like most about him is how respectful and humble he is . Hopefully two lessons he can teach to brock. I did'nt want to hate brock , i think it is a genuine shame that someone so talented is such as asshole.

As for Mike Miller cant even imagine fighting someone that damn strong , he is gonna be a monster in mma with the right training behind him.

On another note i'll take the chance to throw in a quick GO CHUCK!! for the weekend.

It's a huge money ticket for PPV and even with lesnars track record I'd honestly rather watch this than the other proposed matchups. Lesnar is simply a monster and it'd be interesting to see if he's learned how to take advantage of his size and strength on the ground.

Sylvia and Gonzaga may be big, but they don't have 1/10th the athleticism that brock does.
