I squeezed my blades together in '06 '07 pics. My back is really a lagging body part for me along with chest. Everything else is not really big at all but I think everything matches in size. V taper only looks bigger in the 05 because your a lot thicker in the other years,

At your level bro it's so hard to perfect your physique any further. Take deadlifts. They seem to have added a ton of thcikness to you (among other movements) but your waist is absolutely miniscule in the 05 pic. Guys would kill for a waist that small. Have you thought of doing deads maybe twice a month and relying on heavy bent/t-bar/one arm rows for thickness??

Your erectors were sick in that 2006 pic. I think the lighting and maybe the tan (or protan??) may have factored in the difference as well. I think if the shoulders were not squeezed together like you stated, then it would have been far superior to the 2005 pic in terms of back-->waist ratio.

Thanks bro, I use to be in search for mass, now it's slow and steady. I was dl'ing 2x a week. I was so obsessive about bb'ing i got burnt out, now its actually easier. Actually I now do deads once a month and rely on lots of pull ups.

Thanks B! '06 was my best year as far as conditioing goes, I was hungry for it cause it was a national event, and nervous cause it was my 2nd show didnt want to get too smashed. I always squeeze my blades right before any back pose, it's just that the photograher snapped the pic too fast.

Wow! Im embarrassed you saw me before my '06 prep. I over did the bulk, I almost hit 250 and still only weighed in at 174lbs, I made that prep hard for myself...I was a sumo wrestler looking foo....LOL!
