glad I read this. I was about to write my wife a letter explaining that I was leaving her for you. Since you are allergic to kidz....I guess I will keep my azz right where I am.

Little contest tips:

Know your competitor number
Be where the expediter can find you or within range of hearing them yell your class or number
While it's "hurry up & wait" - be where & when you are supposed to be
(don't make them chase you down - they may not)

If asked to change places - step FORWARD, raise your hand & walk in FRONT of the line - not looking down, looking at the judges, smiling, CONFIDENT, and WORK IT......just cuz you're changing spots doesn't mean you aren't ON

All of that was what I spent a lot of time doing.....running after competitors & trying to find them for lineup....so it was fresh in my mind!!

And it's a pet peeve of mine when the Figure gals completely relax & walk head down (ie "regular" walking) along the back of the line when asked to change spots.....Way to not be noticed or to be noticed in a not so good way....and why not use it as an opportunity for the judges to notice you?

So some girls walk behind?? I've only been to one show but all the girls stepped forward and were all smiley and stuff while they switched spots. I'll have to watch all of that.

That's what they all did Saturday....walk behind the lineup.....

all young gals get hit on by these types of men. You'll find a guy soon. I'm with 2ez though, people from the west are far too laid back for my tastes
