Dear AF members,

Please name who you feel should be nominated for the April, 2008 AFboard Member of the Month in this thread. We are well on our way to starting a new month of this MOTM plan. Thanks for making the first month a success. The April nominee is for the last month of participation to the board.

Here is a recap of the rules:

1. A nominee must be a participating member with at least 100 posts to their name.

2. No Mods or Administrators are up for nomination. So no sucking up to Ulter...lol.

3. Only members vote, and not the admin or mods.

4. Please only state one person for your nominee vote. If possible give a reason why you chose this person

5. Each monthly WINNER, is not eligible for nomination for a year after their win.

6. NO self-promotion or soliciting members for support.

In participation, we ask that nobody show any negative feelings toward other nominee's and the members nominating them. We want to keep this addition a positive experience, and it is the total votes of the site that are important, not just one person's nomination.

Also, please remember that this is a month-to-month plan, and that nominees should be chosen based on this performance month-to-month. This means that a nominee not chosen previously can win over somebody chosen on the previous month. This also means that it will not be rewarded to those with the highest post count or how long they have been a member of the site. So you can say that quality and helpfulness month-to-month will beat out vet status and popularity. This also means that even those members who are on the short-end of the spectrum for physcial genetics, can win. Maybe some of our long-time vets will come out of hibernation too

We will continue to accept names until the night 16th of March (which is a Sunday). At that point, we will take all the nominees mentioned, and place them into a pole for voting the final 2 weeks of this month.

This bro always posts some good stuff, especially when it comes to BP, overall blood, diuretics Q's ect. Very insightfull, and thorough posts.

There many other bros I have in mind, but I will save them for the future months.

Awesome choice buzz.

I also want to be more specific on the month to month rules for nomiation. I'll try to reword the original thread so that it makes more sense.

Each month we have 1 winner, and that winner is not eligible again for 12 months, or 1 year. So SS is not eligible again until March of 2009. Everybody who was nominated on the March poll, is eligible for the April poll. However, you can look at it as a clean slate. Just because you made it last month, does not mean it automatically enrolls you each month after. Each month is a brand new month for nominations. So somebody like BiggT or Booey, who had strong placings this last month, have a chance of not even making it this month, if they are not nominated. That also means somebody newly nominated, such as PeteM above, can win this month for April, regardless of not even being on the last month contest. This is a month-to-month performance, so if Booey or BiggT make two posts over the course of a month, this puts them at risk of not winning, due to not being of much activity/help. Although, this probably will not be the case, as they are awesome members

I'll rewrite the above to make more sense, hopefully by tonight/tomorrow

He is a frequent poster and a loooong time board member who worked very hard to earn earn an Elite total at a power lifting meet this past month. Doesn't get much better or more deserving that.

I would like to nominate Wonder Woman. She is a newbie and contributes a LOT to the different threads and her story is an inspiration with what she has accomplished in a relatively short time

and more importantly for me..she posts lots of pics

Though I don't think it needs much justification

..strong and smart as hell yet humble about it, knows what he's doing and is extremely helpful. And I think CS pretty much summed up the awesome factor of his logs in this post.

Ill 3rd LJ, he's really layin it out there lately.
Kook is another id suggest because he posts alot lately for all topics but especially workin with a few of the newer strongman dudes from what ive seen. Takes alotta patience.
BiggT can stay in it too for the same reasons as b4. Patient, expository and very knowledgeable.
