I am one of those people that have to turn to shakes to increase intake of protein and calories in general. It would be great to get some new ideas for my daily liquid meals. If you have recipes for good,

Nice Croutons

Preworkout or First thing in the morning - Take 1 cup of raw oatmeal, chocolate whey (your choice) 2 cups of cold coffee and water or milk and blend... In the morning I love this shake, it's really good. On hot days, toss in some ice cubes.
P.S. Don't try hot coffee, taste like shit and the oatmeal gets half cooked nasty. |

To piggyback SaladFork, I discovered last week how to make my protein shake/drink like a Frappucino from Starbucks:
- Protein, 2 scoops - 12 oz water - Crushed ice (1/4 cup or so) - 2 teaspoons International Foods Mocha Coffee Mix, Sugar Free Decaf I just blend that up and O M G so tasty. My shake doesn't even taste like vanilla or chocolate anymore -- straight-up Frappucino-ish ![]() Additionally, there is a link to a great online, downloadable cookbook here on our boards: Free Downloadable Cookbook Off the top of my head, I don't know how many SHAKE recipes are in there but several of the recipes are "creative" in uses of cooking with protein powder.
