Ok, how in the heck do I get my lats to spread? I can get it accidentally, but trying to make it spread is so darn hard. Especially when trying to lift the shoulders up and out for figure...... HELP?

don't focus on your lats..I focus on shoulders out..chest up and the lats just fall in. Took me awhile to get it but once you do..it just happens. Best way to practice is with two mirrors. one in front so you can see the one behind (unless you a neck that can go all the way around
) just remember , your not curving the shoulders forward to spread the lats..your pushing your shoulders out ..imagine someone has their hands on the outside of your shoulders and your pushing out against them ![]()

I am a good bit more on the correct path. I was with my trainer today and since it was back day he worked in some posing between sets. Helped me feel the lasts by working them and then spreading them out. I'm starting to get the mind/muscle commection, but I'm still working on it!
