Default Got a weird question for you...

I was looking back at the progress pics I posted when I was 9 weeks out, and I saw on my side an indention that looked a bit like extra skin pulled tight. I went and flexed in the mirror to figure it out, and it turns out it was ab/oblique muscle that was wide and visible from the back (look at the arrows in the pic to figure out what in the heck I am talking about.) I am wondering if it means I have worked my obliques too much and am giving myself a wider waist because of it? Does this make sense?

It makes sense yes, but my opinion is no you haven't worked your waist too much. When you've lost some more body fat it won't be an area "pulled tight". It will ALL be pulled tight. In contest shape you should be able to see all of the ab/oblique area.

My last cut I was taking pics and emailing to Bunny. She told me to drop my direct Oblique work b/c the looked like love handles and I was WAY past the love handle stage.

Like everything else I liked to train them heavy, and would do standing side crunches w/ 140lb DB's for sets of 15-20. I stoped the direct work but started bloating (bulking is when you eat clean but a lot, and I've been eating like a cow for 6 months hence the term bloating) so I can't see them right now - the love handles are back though!

But seeing the obliques from the back view? That is ok/normal? This is a first for me, lol.

I don't remember seeing them when you were here.
You want to train them but not resistance now.

They only show when my arms are up, not in figure poses. I was just making sure I'm not doing something I shouldn't be.

That pic was taken the day after I saw you last. I looked at the pic and went to flex to see how bad the extra skin was, turned out there was no extra skin, just muscle in the side spots that you can hold between your fingers.

You've dropped enough fat to be able to see things you've never seen before. Thats a good thing.

Ok, I won't worry about it. I'm sure I'll have plenty new things to freak out about as I lean out. .
