Default GREAT SNACK!!

i fell in love with this new snack. Eating healthy is hard, but ive found something that makes snacking ok. Ive always been afraid of Hummos for wahetevr reason, but my buddy let me tried some and i fell in love. So now ive made my own and i dip raw broccoli and carrots in it.
just throw it all in the food processor
i used 3 cans chick peas, about 10 lil sundried tomatoes, a cup or so of roasted red bell peppers, about 2 tablespoons roasted garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil.....this shit is GREAT. im hooked.

you gotta try the combo i made....its great.

roasted garlic and peppers, sun dried tomatoes, olive oil, S&P.......its too perfect for those time im looking to "snack", now i can reach for that instead of potatoe chips or granola bars

i think my next batch ill add sauteed spinach in olive oil and garlic and add artichoke hearts too....itll be like a spinach artichoke dip at a restaraunt, but healthy

If you like chick peas and want a snack you can also take a can of peas, rinse them off and drain. Line a cookie sheet with foil, spread the peas and season with kosher salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder. Heat in the oven 350 until dried and slightly browned. Through into a bowl and you'e ready to snack. If you like it spicier season with white pepper and chill powder as well.

all great suggestions!

I love Hummus and Baba ghanoush (which is very similar, basically replace chick peas with eggplant, take out peppers & tomatoes and add lemon juice)

wasabi also works great as a seasoning too. plus it keeps you from eating too many at one a time (unless you're congested in which case a bunch will clear you right out)
