I have been doing some casual neck excercises but want to bump it up a bit. My gym has no equipment for it though. I have been taking one of my straps and wrapping it around a DB and biting the end to lift up and down while sitting on a bench. Any ideas for strap or harness I could purchase, I am afraid my teeth will fall out if I go much heavier :tongue2:

Just curious is there a certain reason? I think a lot of shrugs and upright rows will increase your neck, deadlifts as well.

Just wanting to try something different, that's all.

You do not get direct neck work from shrugs, upright rows, or deadlifts.

As stated above a harness, along with a towel and some plates can work wonders. Neck training is fun.

Spud systems inc. neck harness. (http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=114&pid=1941)
good price, more comfy than leather and more form fitting. can be plate (just thread it thru the chain) or db loaded as shown in the pic.
