I hope this hasn't been discussed ad nauseum, but I am one of the unlucky bastards who is allergic to AIFM. I've bought it three different times, hoping that small changes to the formula, or that time passing, would make it usable for me again. Yes, I was OK with it for about the first two or three months I used it. So am I hosed with AIFM for good? I loved that stuff, and I keep hoping that something will make it usable for me again, another formula change, I don't know. I'm grasping for frickin' straws. I have a bottle in my cabinet that literally has two sprays out of it. :tear:

how long has it been since you used it? How long between uses? how long can you use it before you have an issue (or is it immeadiate now)? sometimes once you get an allergy that kind of it. Sometimes its not.

If you have used a bottle but then its sat for a while....empty the pump out back into the bottle, place in a pan of HOT water for 10 minutes (just up to bottom of label is fine), then shake well. Wait for it to cool to use it.

Allergic? Does it give you a rash, or what?

This is interesting. There are so many different places that you can apply this to. Have you utilized all the necessary spots?

I've always used it on my chest for the past 2 yrs and had no problems but in your case I'd try what macro said and shake the bottle EVERY TIME YOU USE IT and make sure the pump is clear if it's not been applied recently.

Inside wrists, top of feet, inside quads, chest, top of hands, there are so many places to choose, but if you're already trying this and to no avail, I'm not sure I have a better solution.

Maybe you're skin is just sensitive. How many pumps are you using per application per site?

I used it the first time when it was first released, I think, maybe two years ago. I used it for about two months, but I was stupid with it and did not cycle sites like I should have. I ended up getting a nasty rash on my left inner elbow. I reported the problem, and you guys shipped me a free bottle, I think there had been a reformulation at that point, and some of what caused the rash had been changed???? Made no difference for me, I got the bottle, tried a different location, and got another rash, though not nearly as severe. I read that sometimes, time off can alleviate the problem, so after about a year off, I ordered another bottle. Shook it well before use, and tried half the dose on two different locations (1 pump on each shin). Got the rash the following day. I've tried chest, wrists, inner elbows, and shins, all with similar results. When I get the rash, it takes almost two weeks to fully disappear. I've got scars on top of my feet from surgery for compartment syndrome, so I won't use there.

its unlikely that your allergy will pass in that case. sorry. When you develop a contact allergy to something, if it does not pass within several months (of non exposure), its unlikely to go away. Basically your body (immune system) has decided that its an invader, and its unlikely to change its mind.

Aww C'MON! You've got to be able to add some kind of super anti invader formulation to the product to keep this from happening. What if I send a digit or limb to Anafit for testing? I'd be willing to do that to get the AIFM back.
