Warm-up -Keg Carry
3x210x220ft
Decided to throw in a conditioning type warm up before my regular training session. It gets the blood and sweat flowing, plus it makes me more focused on the tasks at hand.
Front Squats

Same weight next time. Had some focus issues going on... ohh and the 1800 cal I ate before hand didn't help much eighter.
SLDL
3x365x8
Decised to drop the reps here, so that I can add more weight. Will drop the reps to a 5x5 later.
Abb super set Leg raises, knee tucks, Roman Chair Crunches

Warm-up
Stepper 5min @mid level
Push Press/Power Jerk
135x5 185x5
6x230x3
Really happy with these, they start them out as a push press and transform into a power jerks by rep 3. I'm especially happy that I'm finally rebending my knees to catch the weight.
Wide grip chins
6, 6, 6, 6, 6
Up one rep on all 5 sets, I'm lighter.
Incline Barbell Press
3x185x8
Lat Pull downs
3x160x8
And then some "assorted bodybuilding gheyness" such as pec-deck, some millitary press machine that kinda hurt my forearm...
+2 sets of dips to failure

Ya dude! Thats at Fitness Quest on Main. 5 dolla drop in.
After training in my garage for so long this place is so funny. As I started my push press/jerk, slowly I could see 1 then 2 guys doing exactly tha same thing as me. Except one was using those pre-assambled 20lb bars and the other was in the smith using some huge weights as well. lol.
Then as my sets progressed this other dude (probably the largest in the gym) starts setting up for his famous shrugs/slightly-bent-over weight "throws" with way too much weigth. He always doing these right beside me when I'm at the gym. Plus he uses all the support equipment you can think of: straps, chalk (straps and chalk together WTF!) belt and knee wraps. Ohh yeah buddy you gonna get huge in no time.

Looking strong Meat!
The wife is trying to convince me to wax my chest....I am concerned I will just break out horribly afterwords. Have you done it before and what was the result...other than lotsa pain at the moment of departure!

Thanks!
I've never wax anything in my life... so I'm not sure what to expect. I usually just shave the chia-pet on my chest with an electric razer. Since I'm on "some" ;) andgrogens right now it grows back like wild fire tho.
If I break out, I have real good UG anti-acne cream.

335x5
425x5
515x2 pr

Initially I thought I was having a really crappy work out. Later I picked up a fish scale and finally figured out how much band tension I've been working with. Both bands added 40lb on the floor and approx. 170lb at lockout. I always thought it was much less.:naughty:

Jerkz from the rack
135x5 6x237.5x3 (+7.5)
Wasen't focused at the beginning yet kinda found it in myself to finish all my sets. I wasen't power jerking like last time, but ended up kinda split jerking each rep (kinda 'cuz it wasent a very wide split). Still happy with my performance today on this lift since I'm doing all this in a commercail gym and all I can think about is "what if I have to dump the weight".
Wide grip chinz
7, 7, 7, 5, 5
Weighing in as a bloated-ass 245... I've been doing a bit of a re-feed the last few days as a I'm planning to drop my cals back down next week and hopefully grow some ballz and finally do some cardio.
Machine bent-over rows
135x8 x8 x5 then drop set to 90x5 & 45x5
Incline dumbell press ~40deg

Some updates on my work status...
Well couple weeks ago I said I was going in for a second interview with an employer to assure a position for a manufacturing engineer with a life presserver manufacturer. Since I was going for this job through a recruiter it was taking a long time for them to find financing for my position (it was a contract position where the employer pays the recruiter and the recruiter pays me). In the mean time I came in contact with my previous employer (who was one of my references), who was hiring for a couple different positions. They basicly offered me a position on the spot and so I told the recruiter to "stick-it" and took the position with the previous employer.
So starting this monday I'll be acting as a "constent improvement co-ordinator" and probably still partially be a cnc programmer. Sweet now I'll have even more money to spend on gear and strongman equipment.
Nice pullin! what bands are you using and how are they set up to get that kind of weight up top?
Don't know if you missed this meat, but would like to know.
Good luck with the new job! looks like you have to make some bigger stones, so more money will come in handy.

I cut open the squat rack bottom rails so that I can box squat wide. Lying on the floor is a 4'x8' 3/16" plate of steel covered by some rubber, it has studs in it that bolt it to the squat rack. The rack has "hooks" welded on that allow me to attach the bands. The bands I use are 1 set of doubbled greens pre side. I have some purple bands but find the greens to be plenty.

Had 3 ART sessions this week and havent trained at all. Woke up today and weighed in at 236.5lbs kinda dehydrated. Everybody cancelled on event training so I just went to a reg old gym and did some pulling.
Both sets felt great but I kinda got winded after the second set. Had to lie on the floor at the gym then on the grass beside my truck before I could drive home.
