Some videos from youtube of Mark Felix getting instruction at Addlington Barbell. Fascinating to see someone so strong still learning. I found it very interesting to hear what the coach (Alan, who I believe was a very accomplished lifter himself) had to say.

Clean and press.

Push press

Overhead dumbell press

And finally, doing what he is best known for...some deadlifts. Apparently he was set to do a double with 350kg. To quote Jonny Mills (who trains there and posted this up at Marunde-Muscle):
'He warmed up to a 660lb single, then a 720lb single. Alan (the coach) then asks for 770lb. Mark replies "How many reps do you want?" After a bit of banter Alan asks him for 2. This is what happened...'

I'd love to see what he could do when he gets his technique sorted, especially with the overheads. I think he would be awesome to see in a comp like the Arnold's.

Thanks for posting those rawp. Felix is a freak, Strong as hell. Imagine what he can do after some coaching.

Standing right next to him, his hands are the biggest I have ever seen. he must be able to easily hook grip a 2"bar.

I've heard that he has a near 30cm (1ft) handspan...

I saw him at the Mohegan Sun show.... his best attribute is his grip, unbelievable grip. But outside of his strength, he worked the crowd better than anybody, really knew how to rile them up and get them into the events.

That's great news for the sport to be finding guys with the personality to match the strength!

It just shows if you take care of yourself and also have amazing genetics :-), that you can be lifting at high level into your 40's. He really is a freak.
