thats what i want to know. when i came off my diet i was in shape at 9% looking good starting to clean up nice pre injury as most of you know. so i came off keep lifting hard got sloppy with diet and here i am 10 weeks later at the same weight with higher bodyfat. i am torn. the reason being i feel like i am on the edge of being out of shape. i was originally planning to bulk nicely eat clean and gain some 15-20lbs. i am afraid with the extra weight that i would gain that i would be really high in b\f and it could take me a long time to do a solid diet for a show. but i don't know that for sure. my bulking if i do it will be very clean except for one cheat meal on saturday a week. My other options which i am starting to think about would be to eat maintence calories and eat clean and see what happens. it would be nice to gain some solid muscle and lean out some. opinions advice whatever i want to hear all options and senarios.
thanks.

I had gotten sloppy after moving into my own place and getting use to things. Anyway what I did was to speak to the owner of my gym, I have the pleasure of having a IFBB judge as a gym owner. He took a look at me and told me to start dieting and doing cardio. He cut my carbs low to about 150 and my protein was near 500 at the time. I was 240lbs, i got down to 225 and back in shape showing abs, in the right light of course, lol. After that I went back on a cycle and kept the diet clean and just boosted my carbs a bit to about 250 and kept the protein high at 500+. I am now back to 235 and as you can see in the pictures I posted, still in decent shape, at least where I wanna be for before dieting. So maybe you would want to lean up a bit and then go back on a cycle and put on some lean tissue.

You know as well as I W8s that fat weight is a waste of time after a point. You are a competitor and should in my opinion always should be able to see your abs somewhat...10-11% BF. Eat relatively clean...base your diet on mostly protein...give yourself a cheat when you need it. Its not that hard really. Just keep thinking about the guys you'll be stepping up against...are they getting fat...No!

ya i understand that gopro, but i really need somemore size at least 10lbs min. before i start dieting again. Now 10lbs doesn't sound like much but it can be at times. if i bulked up to a more solid 215-220 i will be in better shape when i started dieting i figured and much more leeway when dieting to make middle weight. and be at the top of the division.

Weight aint shit really. As long as you are in shape who cares how much you weigh. I might go light heavy this year again, sho knows but I will tell you this, I will be shreaded! Mark my words, I am talking antomy chart hard like the kid that won the middles in the USA hard. That I promise and at that point who cares what you weigh. Yes it is true ou do need size I know that. But what I am saying is if you got the muscle you really dont need to be at the top of your class as long as you are in shape, dont sacrfice conditioning for size. I hope i got my point across, i sometimes have a hard time explaining what I mean.

you definatley got your point across. but i am only 5'9 so i am tall middle weight (bad genetics) so i want to be somewhere near the top of my class. reguardless of what i do i am doing 1000mg of test elmu for 8 weeks and 6 weeeks of winstrol.

W8s...you and I have discussed this bulking thing many times. I think we came to the consensus that you would try and do it with a clean diet, specific gear, and certain training. I also think your main concern should be conditioning whether middle or light heavy. Be smart about this...quality IS quantity.

I think the question to go along with the subject is "How much DNP/t-3/clenbuterol/GH can you afford?" LOL
