This may seem like a simple question to you guys... but I'm not sure how to calculate how much HCG I need to draw out of a 1 ML Insulin Syringe For...

5,000 IU HCG
+ 1 ML Water

=

Dose Needed 250 IU's

can someone clarify this for me?

That would be 5000/10 basically so every 10 notches on you insulin syringe will be 500iu so you will need 5 notches or 1/20th of a ML. I just add 4mls to the vial the hcg comes in which yields 1250iu per ml. If you did that you would need to draw up 20 notches or .2mls to get your 250 iu dose.

First off, you need to add at least 2ml of BW to the HCG vial. If you only add 1ml, you would have 100 insulin units for 5000 IU HCG.
That would be 1 unit = 50 IU HCG. So 5 units = 250 IU HCG. Thats a bit too hard to measure IMO.

With 2ml BW, you would have 200 insulin units = 5000 IU HCG, so 1 unit = 25 IU HCG. So 10 units = 250 IU HCG Which is far easier
to measure IMO

The problem is the HCG I got comes in Amps ... I think it's the Shering or w/e you call it brand ... so 2 amps, and the water provided is only 1 ML ..

Now I Have Bacteroistatic Water of my own , should I just use that to mix it up and throw out the water that came with the HCG then?

If it came in amps, then its just sterile water (0.9% sodium chloride). You shouldn't use it because its supposed to be used to
administer the HCG right away. It goes bad very quickly. What you can do is add the BW yourself then transfer the HCG
solution to a vial.

use bac water. ..buy a 30ml bottle. As posted, the amps you have are intended to be used in one dose

Perfect.. I already have Bac water ready, and sterile Vials...

So If I want 250 IU Doses how much water should I Mix it with to make measuring easy?

Hmm... can the Sterile Vial that I use be re-used at a later time? ... Lets say all I use it for is mixing HCG... than it's empty , can I just repeat the process with the same vial?
