Shoulder side raises with a straight bar? I was fuckin around at the gym, just trying to see what I can and cannot do when it comes to lifting on my one side ( due to my injury ). I actually found this very effective as I got a nice solid burn/pump because not only did I have the resistance from the weight itself, I also had to realy focus and control the bar so it didn't tider toder. Its defenetly somthing one can use as a good warm up or even end a shoulder routine with a couple sets of these.

I like it. I'll definitely give it a try. I think it would help a lot of people who try to force the bar up with momentum.

Oh ya. You gotta really focus and take your time with it. If you go to fast or try to force the bar, it will start wobbling all over the place. It worked great. I had a slight bend in my elbow just enough to were it wasn't locked. It realy capped off the top of my shoulder as well as my trap. I'm gonna do these every shoulder workout from here on out.
