Hey guys and girls, I have a lower back pain with some degeneration of discs and an old fracture but dont know what from. I have been told to build my core and was wondering if any exercises shoulld be avoided.

What`s the simplest, most effective, least dangerous way of building my core.

Thanks a lot

I found this the other day and found it an interesting read:

if you're having lower back issues, you should be concentrating on movements that do NOT involve crunching and bending of the spine.

I would suggest variations of planks or hanging leg raises

I'm going to send you something too

lat machine crunches are easy on the lower back.
