Been having problems on the right shoulder, well I think its the shoulder, theres no pain there, all the pain is on the right side of my neck and around the muscle where my right shoulder blade ends.
I have had this for about +6mths now. Overhear presses are no problem, been doing a lot of handstand presses etc, pushups/bench are a big no no, can feel them in my scapula and neck from the first rep.
Went to the docs at least 3 mhts ago now, they took an mri, and said nothing was broken.
Been on Deca for about 3mnths and doing a lot of scapular stability/mobility and rotator work, and have been able to do slow pushups again with no pain.
Yesterday I was in the park playing around with some kids, and we did cartwheels, bear crawls etc and today my right side is in agony and I cant move my neck.
Any idea what this is, and what I should do next?
I've had the same problem, but on the left side. Pain seems like it's in the rhomboids and radiates to the neck and levator scapulae. It has been with me for over a year. First noticed it doing lat pulldowns. Went to the chiropractor for a while for it with minimal/temporary relief. About 6 months ago aggravated it again doing real heavy shoulder d-bell press. I started seeing a good massage therapist who does deep tissue, and trigger point techniques. After a couple sessions noticed some real relief! I couldn't believe it. The first couple times, she worked on my neck area for a whole hour! Now I go at least once a week or every other. She only needs to spend 15 minutes or so on my neck and the stiffness/pain leaves. I never believed in massage until I experienced the effects.

Did you find out what was causing it? Did you also get stiffness so bad you could hardly move your head?
Im asking around now for some local chiros, but im getting really bored with this :(

What kind of work do you do?
Are you stressed?

I'd recommend a few visits to a good massage therapist. I wouldn't be surprised if a scapular release alleviates most of the discomfort.

I've had shoulder/neck issues for over a decade...and they won't be going away.
Recommend buying the Trigger Point Therapy book - http://www.triggerpointbook.com/
...and also buying a Theracane so you can beat the shit out of the right spots yourself:

The Theracane is worth its weight in gold.

I sit at the computer most of day, but I dont think I am stressed.
Thank everybody for the advice, Im looking for a good massage place here in BKK and asking around, trying to google massage in bkk will only get you certain types of massage places ;)

You may be more stressed than you think. Many people carry stress from rhomboids on up. Lots of knots in the rhomboids.
But, you have a desk job. I have seen many people have knots in mid trap, rhomboids and up from computer work. Esp on the mouse side. Get some trigger point - deep tissue done. It will work wonders. You can get a tennis ball to and rub against the wall. Find the sore spot and sit on it. If you really want pain, try a golf ball.

deep tissue massage, hot bath or hot tub...
Also, body position... how one carries themselves thoughout the day and how one sleeps at night.
I had to get a new matress due to neck and back pain. It really helped!

I think you are spot on Killer! I booked a session for next monday. Got a tennis ball yesterday and put it in a sock and used it against the wall, DAMN its painful when you find that spot but the muscle just completely relaxes and feels normal after. After the tennis ball treatment did a workout with no pain last night, so a big thanx for that :D
