i had surgery on my right arm, rotator cuff had a rod shoved right through it and down my right humerus, so my shoulder has never been the same sense.
i was doing some heavy dumbell sit laterl raises...felt a pain....later that night and the next day my range of motion was pretty limited... it got better yesterday... and only slightly better today...
my only real pain relieve is taking advil...and i really dont want to keep doing that for 5 days straight.
there is no swelling, no black and blue etc....any idea what i did... my range of motion is a little bit better...and it really only hurts when i rotate my shoulder a certain way....otherwise theres no pain, just sitting here typing or whatever there is no pain

From what you say, it does not sound serious..
but with your rotator-cuff injury history, i would suggest you to get it checked from your doc first....

weird as hell... im almost fine now....
hit arms yesterday and went a little light and im going to try and see what i can do in the gym today but im going to go very very light...
its so weird how i went from like being in such pain... to 3 days later being fine....

remember - step by step progression is the key when you are recovering from an injury..

A little strain or irritation. That has happened to me before.
Take it easy and pay attention to what is going on. Be wary of things that put you in the rotation that was originally causing pain on day one for a week or so. Or anything that stretches the shoulder/pec, such as flies.
I hope you iced it?

Well, have someone check you RROM and PROM (Resistive and Passive ROM). That way you can tell if it's muscle, ligament, or bone. Then you can go from there. Obviously your AROM wasn't good, but that could just be from apprehension.

im really having issues going heavy with upper chest pressing movement with barbell.... if i go anywhere over 275 lbs on a press... i feel like my front shoulders are just ACHING... i stretch extensively every time... but going heavy, i swear every other heavy lift i do for shoulders or chest and im aching during the workout

It sounds like a muscle strain. It could be in the supraspinatus (part of your rotator cuff) or even a slight impingement or strain of the long head bicipital tendon. If you have the means to get an MRI, I think you should. Ice may dull the pain, but you could be causing more injury to it. And you may consider taking a break... even though I know that's never an option. Just try and find out what it is for sure through MRI, and see if you need PT, so that way the scar tissue lays down more functionally. You don't wanna lose anymore function of your shoulder.
