I have 2 training partners and I train with both of them as much as I can.
All 3 of us work shifts so most of the time we are only 2 training together and the other one trains alone.
It's nice because sometimes I train alone, sometimes with Danny Love, sometimes with my brother and sometimes all 3 of us.
When we are all 3 we don't stop it's one set after the other. So only about 2min between sets its good.
I find I train harder with my 2 spectators watching especially on Squats and Deadlifts.

If it's not hard it's not worth doing...

I have a couple of people I will train with; however I am self motivated so I can train well without a partner. But I do have one partner I prefer working with over the others. He has the same drive and motivation I do. We both go for the same goals too. I have more endurance than he does so I push him further in that direction and he has more strength than me so he pushes me to do more. It makes for a nice balance. My other partners depend on me for their drive and I end up getting cheated. With Bravo it is an equal partnership. Now that I am nearing a show and my energy levels are decreasing Bravo is helping to keep me perked up and honest about what I am doing..... I REALLY appreciate that!

I like having a partner. But if she is doing a completely different routine it gets annoying sometime because we train at home and have to share all the equipment. If we are on the same routine then it's great to have a spotter etc. If I train alone I have to use the Smith for bench. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

i would love to have a partner. i haven't had one in years. i work funky schedules and i can't find anyone to train with in the mornings i wish i could becuase i bet i would be in better shape if i got motivated to lift more than someone everyday. i'll tell you that.

Personally, I believe that a good training partner is very important. Especially when you are training for a show. I am lucky enough to have an experienced bodybuilder as a partner. He has a good 15 years of training under his belt. We have been training together for about a year now, and my workouts get better every time I go in the gym.
Training with a parter for the same show makes it even better. It makes the dieting part go easier.
I don't have a training partner, usually I'm really good at motivating myself and if I ever need a spot I always have people in the gym that I know so I'll ask them. Recently I've trained w/ someone and its been pretty cool. Yes, definitely motivating and it changes the workouts a bit, making them a little harder. And when I'm training for a show right now, every bit of motivation helps. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The motivation is a real perk of having a partner. Just make sure who you train with doesn't drag you down. I've gone through a few training partners, and only one of them(out of at least half a dozen) will do squats and deadlifts. The rest aren't bad guys, they're my friends, but their intrests aren't strong enough in bodybuilding to go through the same work/pain that i'm willing to endure. I thrive on it though, I feel proud when I wear them out, and the one guy who'll do it is a great asset. He goes to a different college, so we only get to work out together in the summers, but that's when I make my best gains.
