DITTO AJ............. I need all the information I can get. I am really interested in more information about water manipulation. I have been reading some of Pharm Animal's back messages.... but I am still somewhat confused.... such as WHEN does one start implementing these strategies? I would like to avoid any diuretic use if possible so I need details ...ya know the kind explained to a six year old......

I tell people all the time,"don't fix it if it aint broke."
And Helga..water manipulation is something generally dealt with in the final week. This is done by controlling sodium, water and carb intake. This is specific to each person as this depends on gender, weight, current diet, etc.Give us some more info and I'm sure we can set you on the right track.

1- Start dieting way ahead of time. 4-5 months isn't out of the question for a first show.
2- Don't carb deplete and then carbup for your first show unless you have time to try it out before hand. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
If it's not hard it's not worth doing...

Keep a log of everything you eat.
And don't take yourself too seriously, this is supposed to be fun!

keep the end result and goal near your eyes and heart....don't let up on that diet, schedule your cheat meals....fail to plan, and you plan to fail!

IG is right....keep a journal of everything including water, that goes into your body, and when it gets consumed! i have done shows with and without a journal, and i always do better with a journal!
