Hi,

I'm posting my log to bulk up to 260lbs. I'm currently (6'5) 222.

Diet will consist of mainly red meat and chicken with a little turkey, sweet potatoes, whole eggs, oats, natty peanut butter, veggies, and the occasional (read very occasional) batch of ice cream with the kids. :)

in all seriousness, I'm aiming for 4000 cals per day, and 350g protein per day. I'll supplement with one or two shakes a day to hit this, but definitely no more than that.

Training will be the Rippetoe 3x5, with a 2-day on, 1-day off split. I just recently hit 1RMs all of last week and will list them below. They're on the low side, but I've had a lot going on the last year and a half that has brought consistent lifting to a halt. I've just gotten settled back into it the last 4 months, so I feel ready to progress further.

Flat Bench - 265
Incline Bench - 235
Dead - didn't max but pulled 275 for 3x5 with ease - so no idea, but i'll use this as a rough guideline.
Squat - 305 (pretty happy with this!)
Overhead Press - haven't done it nor trained in awhile, so this will be a n00b lift for sure - I would guess it at 175'ish (awful, I know)

I still have a little of the skinny fat going on, so the goal will be to do this with clean food for the most part. I am also using 50mcg of T3 to both increase hunger and minimize fat gain, but mainly for the hunger aspect. :)

I'll be doing an 8 week cycle of an oral compound that i've used many times before. Can't reveal what it is, but it's basically the mass/strength effects of Tren without the tren sides, minus severe liver toxicity. I'm not interested in debating this so please don't bother. :)

cycle starts in 2 days, but I began the lifting today. I'll post #s later tonight alongside tracking the diet. I am not entirely prepped diet wise so it will be on the low side for a day or two.

wish me luck!

also noting - I will be very happy if I hit 250. I'm going to bust hard and shoot for 260, but I realize 250 is a more attainable number.

today's lifts / diet

total cals - about 2800 (eek). protein - about 200g

Started workout A

Squats - 3x5 @ 215. felt way too easy, but we'll see how this goes tomorrow morning.
Incline - 1x5 @ 175, 2x5 @ 165 - struggled here. may sub down to flat bench per the program, as shoulders will be hit with overheads tomorrow.
Deads - 1x5 @ 275. Cake.

workout B tomorrow (squats / overheads / deads) he suggests power cleans, but i am going to sub out workout a's deads with pendlay rows and hit the deads the following day for 3x5.

skipped a day, and worked out today - weighed in just under 225.

Workout B
Squats 3x5 @ 215
standing military press 3x5 @ 115 (so pathetic, but oh well)
rows - 3x5 @ 155, felt too easy, but i was super tired
tried bodyweight dips but mustered only 2 reps, lol.

i had a stomach bug yesterday, so went ahead and waited a day to work out. my gear hasn't arrived either, so haven't started the cycle. just on 50mcg of T3 as well as 1.25mg letro and 0.5mg prami ED for gyno reduction.

will have 2 days off and resume monday - have my kids with me this weekend so working out won't happen :)

worked out today:

Squats - 3x5 @ 225
Incline - 3x5 @ 175
no deads - cutting these out - focusing purely on squat and incline and overhead pressing
dips - 2x6 @ bodyweight, lol

diet kicking up - hard to hit the 4k, I still haven't yet. it will probably start to turn pretty dirty. i'm adding in 20m of moderate cardio after each workout to help stave off the fat gain, but i know it's going to come. no worries, as i will likely bulk the rest of the year and start cutting next spring.

gear arrives wed/thurs. yeah. :)

also weighed in at 224'ish this morning. weekend eating wasn't enough to sustain growth. i fixed that today. :)
