dear bros + bro-ettes,
sorry i have been away. this position i stepped into is going to see a LOT of my time...since it is a definite career i want to be in, and it does demand much time and effort from me. therefore, i will have less time to check the board from now on.
as many already know, i moved to washington state. i am now on active duty as a 1st lieutenant with the US Army Infantry, and loving it. (for those of you who don't know what an army lieutenant is, basically they are responsible for a 30 to 40 man element.) besides the fact that i can't really compete much or put on any size while i am with the unit i'm with, i love every aspect of this career. i am still lifting regularly though, as the unit does encourage physical strength as well as cardiovascular endurance. speaking of, i am still quite strong, even at 208 (my weight now), i am still doing as many reps with weight as when i was 220.
i will still check with you guys periodically, but realize that i cannot commit as much time to the board as i previously did.
i see that our little corner has reached 100 thread topics! this is just the beginning. i am proud of the fact that i have been with this board since its inception in november, and i will continue to participate, just not as often.
i love and am proud of all of you competitors!
take care,
PA
