My wife is competing in a local bb championship July (sat 14) from what I remember in bb school she should cut h20 out 38 hours out from the show,but as shes finishing her carbing up some fluid to wash down those pancakes might be nice, how about diet coke with arginine powder as they are diuretics of sorts? Also the full body workouts combined with dietary
carb depletion should run from days 7 - 48 hours out...correct in your opinion?! herbal diuretics should start 3 days out. What about glycerol and creatine and glutamine for volumizing...include in carb up ? any reccomendations here or beyond would be appretiated!!Thanx!

Show date was April 7th

Last cardio workout this Friday the 30th, last workout on Wed the 4th (shoulders & arms, last tanning session on Wed the 4th also, to help cut excess subcutenous water. Ended all protein shakes and peanut butter 10 days out.

1st-Sun--am high carb, pm start cutting carbs, 1+ gal H2O
2nd-M--low carb(only green leafy's & protein(chicken, tuna, eggwhites) every hour in small amounts), 1+ gal H2O
3rd-T--low carb(same as above), 1+ gal H2O
4th-W--low carb(same as above, 2+ gal H2O, cut sodium
5th-Th--high carb pyramiding, 2+ gal H2O, cut sodium. PM start diuretics (dyaczide)
6th-F--high carb pyramiding, introduce sodium, cut water, hit sauna.AM diuretics.(8 oz total water through entire day)
7th-Sat--Sodium with No water(only 3 oz prior to show to wash down breakfast)-meal 1 at 6 am --oatmeal with applesauce, and #2 at 7:30 am- pancakes(short stack) loaded with as much syrup as I could stomach, & 3 scrambled eggs. Before & Between AM & PM shows, oatmeal, honey, jam, red wine, etc, still no water.

Now, I used dyaczide, but you are planning on using herbal diuretics----which? If I remember correctly, you need to start that Thursday with restricted water. Also, you may want to hit the sauna to help the water out.

I personally don't know about the creatine, but I wouldn't risk it---more than likely it will make you hold water. I always recommend glutamine, but I even stopped that a week out.

Thank you very much for your helpful response and yes I saw some pics of your performance, very impressive! Any other tips are welcome, I'm sure this will be helpful. The herbals will be dandelion root and leaf with licorice root and
arginine.
