Any suggestions? My food intake is pretty high but cutting out my candy cold turkey is KILLING ME!
I found these candies that carbolite makes, they are NO SUGAR, NO CARBS. They have gummy bears and everything! But the sweetner that is found in these is malitol. I guess its a low digestible carb? Do you all think I could possibly have some of these maybe once a week? Or would that totally screw up my carb intake and diet process? Please someone HELP! My foods per day right now are: 257g protein 138g carbs 17-20g fat I'm 145 and 11% bf now. Thanks everyone, AJ |

Do you allow yourself any high carb cheat days during your diet?? This would be the best time to eats that sort of food (but real sugar, not malitol). Once or twice a week of low fat, high carb eating helps keep your engine revved IMHO. Otherwise some of those sugar-alcohol candies are OK to eat in moderation. Moderation is definitely the key, and you still count the calories towards your daily total.

I agree w/ Retro...moderation is the key. Also, yes, the scheduled high carb day will serve to raise the metabolism which tends to get sluggish on a daily low carb intake.Anyway, every time your cravings get too bad just picture your competitors sticking to their diet and getting shredded...than you'll get sick to your stomach and WHAMMO,no more cravings!
