I often here this complaint from my wife among other women as well. I wouldn't think so but what do I know? After watching what my wife does for strength training, cardio, and nutrition it may have some merit. I'm speaking of the last 10-15lbs to go which can be difficult for anyone.

I can lose fat moderately easy
I have a friend of mine that can do keto for 5 years and still be fat
I know of several women in the gym that shred up at the drop of a hat
I'd say that in my experience its all relative to how well your body responds to your efforts in losing weight regardless of gender. I could be totally wrong, but thats just my experience.

Yes. Men have more muscle mass which helps them burn more calories, and even more significant, women have so much estrogen in their body.

Then again, a woman on a mission is a force to step aside for. I've found that women lose weight more readily than I do.

I'm sure guys "genetically" are at the advantage (somehow), but the girls I know BLOW AWAY the guys every spring when shredding-up.
This is of course due to their determination and will power in the kitchen and around the alcohol.
It's ALL BUSINESS with the girls.
All in all - it's who you are, and how you do it IMHO.
