Fitness America prep

[Tweak]

First show is about 7.5 weeks away, second show (Fitness Universe) is about 11.5 weeks away.

Not doing anything to enhance/flatter my upper body in these pics because I'm happy with my mass. My #1 concern in life is smoothing out my hamstrings and lifting my butt.

Butt is lifted, hamstrings are smooth, now I've got about 2 months to lose a little more fat/bring the size down.

Notes:
-I have T.O.M right now so my lower belly is bloated
-Just wearing my bikini bottom here, obviously wont rock a bra on stage.

looking good tweak :grin: yep can see the hammies not just smoothed out but nice shape from the side ;) now just keep doing what your doing to drop them down a bit more. I remember the comp Bunny helped me with, I dropped 1.5' off the top of each thigh in the last 5 weeks. so will 7.5 weeks...you should definitely be presenting a much better package for the first show..then just tighter and tighter for follow up shots :woot:

I also think I can take at least another inch and a half off my butt and thighs between now and then. I just have to keep running and doing plyos and it will all come together for me. :praying:

I think you look on track! I know you're going after the cardio & conditioning w/ a vengeance - all I could say is keep at it! I think the one thing you want to nail is getting your legs a little leaner and then work on the presentation aspect of the show since its a much bigger factor, and allows you so much more room to let your personality shine thru.

I was curious - do you have access more video of those shows? I think there's so much more opportunity to be sassy and sexy w/o being cheesie & borderline slutty like I've seen in some of the NPC shows.

I think you're going to have so much fun doing this show & I look forward to the results!

Yeah I really need to keep hitting the cardio hard... started my 2-a-days today and I'm sure that will make even more of a difference.

I don't have videos, but the girl who is writing my "routine" (it's not really a routine but the sportswear part of judging has to have sass and personality) has done a lot of FAP shows and won Bikini class multiple times. Yes, it's a line to walk for sure. You have to be hippy when you walk but not jiggle-- you have to be bouncy without floppin'. Your facial expressions have to constantly be changing but you can't seem over-the-top or look too cheesy. It's a delicate line to walk but I've been told I'm a natural and that I should be good for the stage presence. I'm getting together with my friend for more coaching on all that as the time approaches. At this point, I know my poses and I know my walk, I just have to work out the details and refine some things.

I was reading the rules again yesterday though and it's really odd to read that facial beauty is 33% of the judging in figure and bikini. FAP is a whole different ball game than NPC. I'm a healthy combination of nervous and excited for the switch.

I tried taking pics tonight but man, our house is so dark and I'm so PALE. You can't see ANY of my definition except MAYBE some in my back. I have veins poppin out of my shoulders and my hip flexors are rockin'... and you'd never know it from these. Btw, period "poof" in the lower belly should be gone by Saturday.
