I am starting to lean out pretty good but I still feel I am fatter than 6.62%

I am getting some proviron this week and will take 50mg per day until the show that should help as well.

I may post pics of my upper body only as the legs are still soft /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

How many mm's are your legs measuring now?

DREXX

Still very high 14mm

Last year at 5% I had 10mm

I think the proviron will help though.

Also this year my quads seem to be more visible than last year.

I have a month left so I will make the best of it.

I still say you are lucky you store most of your fat in your legs, aside from the lower risk of heart disease, fat (in relative terms) legs and thin waist look better than thin legs and fat waist. I store all mine around my waist. My chest and quad are 6 mm and my waist is...well let's just say it's large enough to make me 10 % on a three point measurement.

Do you keep a record of your measurements? I think that will be a better record to use in the future to track your dieting progress and to use as a comparison to how close you are to contest readiness. For example, your goal shouldn't be based on bodyfat %, but on getting your quads below 10 mm. Just a thought.

I agree with you Ontario.

My goal is to get all 7 sites at 4mm /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I know I wont reach it though...

Here is my results last week (off the top of my head)

Chest...4
Axil...7
Back...10
Tri...7
Abs...6.5
Hip...4
Quads...14

I was wondering if you had graphed or charted your measurements since you started dieting? I would be curious to see if you are decreasing the fat equally from all sites in a steady rate, or are some areas losing it faster.

On the flip side, it would also be interesting to see how you put on fat during your bulking cycles, whether it increased equally at all sites or grew at varying rates.

I think this is something I will track more closely in the future to see how I store and lose bodyfat

It's not proportionate.

Like in one week I went from 16 to 14 in my quads and the other measurments barely moved.

I think the body has a preference where to get it's fat. Now that my upper body is pretty lean it has no choice than to go get some fat from my legs.

I do have all the numbers. I just have to put them together in excel and see how it looks.

Sounds fun. I will do that tomorrow before work.

Hey guys,

Just wondering when your quads are really cut what is your skinfold measurement for them.

Like I said before the lowest I got was 10mm and that wasn't lean enough.

What should I am for 8mm, 6mm, 4mm?

I can't help comparison wise, but you could examine what you have dropped off your quads the last 4 weeks and project that. You said you went from 16 to 14 last week, so with four more weeks, you should easily get to 6, perhaps less if the amount of fat that is being used off your legs is accelerating.

Having more muscle mass this year will help in bringing out the various muscles when you pose.

I should clarify that "easily get to 6" I really mean that it is possible, it is definitely not "easy".
