I had a friend in the gym ask me about these, so I figure this would be the place to ask. Where can they be purchased, are they any good, etc.

Absolute garbage!! At best they give you a funny yellow orange color. Stuff comes out your pores and destroys clothing. Tell your friend to stay clear of this crap.

Hold on i'll have to disagree, trioxsalen, is a very good drug to use for tanning!!! It's rather easy to get prescribed up here in canada but i dont know about the states

I think the stuff Deca/FC are talking about are the caretenoid (betacarotene,lycopene,canthaxanthin) variety of sunless tanning pills, here in the US they are over the counter and pretty much stink.

The stuff you describe are psoralens which make your skin skin super sensitive to UV radiation and yes they work very well. But if your super white like me, they are a no-no.

Oh, ok, sorry, i don't know much about the otc pills. Just the prescribed ones.

Actually I think that they work pretty good and would recomend them.They are nontoxic and the color you get from these is really the best kind that you can get from any of the Canthaxanthin tabs. out there.They come in caps. and they give a brown-red not orange. Good luck.
