Newbie to working out (less than 2 years) here. I've been working on ROM in the squat (mine sucks) and with reasonable back positioning (arch, shoulder blades down) have gotten lower than ever before - I think I'm almost to parallel now. SO I have now something right at the top of the front thigh right in front of the ilia that hurts, like it's being pinched! What have I done, and how do I fix it on my quest for the ATF squat?
What makes it hurt? What makes it feel better? So many questions to ask before anyone can know what's going on. Killer is excellent with rehab/sport injury stuff. Bumping it up for him!

Sorry to be so long getting back here. What makes it hurt, sitting at my desk - also starts to ache all down the outside of my butt and thighs. What makes it feel better - walking around, leaning backward. I'm not quitting until I can't get out of bed, however!

I have heard rom somewhere, but what is it? Are you doing any cardio, if so lessen it or cut it out if it is high intensity.

Hey mlong, rom = Range Of Motion. Any particular type of cardio that would be better? (I use a regular bike on a stand, running 132-140 HR 35-45 minutes, 3-4 times/wk. right now.)
