After taking your quiz I will reply....
The openers are his first lifts. Meaning his first attempts. Unless you are speaking of bottle openers, or cork screws.

Details. Both the good and the bad. Where are you II?
How was the warm-up area? Did the meet start on time? How many lifters? How was the judging? How did your lifting partners do? Any PR's? What was the bomb-out rate? Did everyone come back healthy? Any major injuries?

I'm here! We just got back...
How was the warm-up area?
It was good. There was about 15 or so guys in my flight. There were enough guys spotting and loading for the lifters.
Did the meet start on time?
No, I am so happy that it didn't! I got food poisening that night and needed all the time I could get to try and feel better.
How many lifters?
I don't know the exact number but there were 2 flights for the squats and deads. About 15 guys and gals in each flight. There were 3 bench flights.
How did your lifting partners do?
Scott Sceppe 220 750 bench and JUST MISSED 785. That would have put him 2nd all time at 220.
Nick squatted 800 in a belt and wraps at SHW.
Dom 220 in his first meet squatted 635 in a belt and wraps, benched 375 raw and pulled 600 raw.
Chris Taylor totaled 2250 at 242.
What was the bomb-out rate?
A few guys bombed on the squats. I thought the judging was very strict with lifters having to go well past parallel to get white lights. The guys that bombed on the squat were allowed to go bench and dead.
Did everyone come back healthy?
There were no injuries that I know of.
