"I had a lazy moment in April, but now I'm pushing it. Roid cycle? What about that big dude's brother who suddenly croaked last year? That really freaked me out. No thanks! There very expensive and if you stop taking them... you would probably shrink!" {sic} —A recent email conversation with an old friend.

I don't think this is all that surprising. From what I can see he's only eating 2100 calories a day and running 5.5 miles a week plus resistance. It really wouldn't matter where the 2100 calories came from.

Well we went over this before and this is exactly what I said.
Its not really what you eat but how many calories you take in vs. how many you are burning. Ulter is right. As long as he keep running and keep the cals low then he will be ok. Something that the other fool who made that documentary didnt do.
The thing that scares me about this is that he is eating all of those fries. McD's fries have tons of trans fats in them. That might night show up on any test but I'm sure some of that is sticking to the walls of his arteries. Lots of people die of heart attacks every year because of this with no signs of it beforehand.

I agree with you Mickey. It’s disgusting. I don’t go near the place. Alright, well if I’m in a pinch I’ll grab a plain hamburger and a diet soda and that’s maybe once a month if that. Everything else on their menu makes me feel like crap.
The only fast food joint I like is Roy Rodgers. If you’re not from Maryland or Virginia, you’ve probably never heard of them. It’s owned by Marriott Corp., which is another local company. The food is very decent. The roast beef is sliced fresh, and the hamburgers are served plain. They have a great “fixin’s bar”, almost as good as Fuddruckers but for half the price. And the fried chicken is hands down the tastiest and non-greasiest chicken you’ll find.
