Ok I will start with mine:

1. The Sopranos- this is my favorite, I never miss, and have see every episode at least 10 times. The best show on TV and I have even seen people say maybe the best ever. Complex and filled with symbolism that most stupid people dont even get half of the shows meanings. I'm from NJ, what do you expect!

2. 24- I started watching this show at the end of the first season and have been hooked since. Another show that I just dont miss. This show won Best Drama over CSI, West Wing, and Six Feet Under to name a few. Sutherland is just great, the writing is great and its just cool!

3. Sports- When Im not watching those two shows I am watching sports. Baseball, basketball and football. I'm even watching the Flyers hoping that they kill the Lightning.

Its hard being a Philly fan but living in Tampa.

Back to TV...I also am a dork who loves to watch Discovery Channel and in that in between time when nothing is on Law and Order. I used to be a huge fan of the X-Files, watched every season and taped most episodes, but they took that away from me. Recently I have started watching The Shield on FX on Tuesdays after 24 but I'm not too wild about it. I think its good but not great.

I dont watch much TV actually, really only 2 shows religiously. Most of the time its sports and the other shows as fill ins when sports isnt on or all I can get is the DRays.

I hate regular t.v. because I'm so on the go I never get to catch two episodes back to back. I do like fear factor and things like that for that same reason though...you never have to know what's been going on up till then. Plus it's fun to look at those chicks in little bikinis doing rigorous things. http://www.anabolicfitness.net/smileys/elephant.gif

The only show I watch regularly is The Soprano's. My wife got Tivo for Christmas so we usually watch it whenever we get time. Other than that I watch a movie a week and I am watching the Cubs vs Dodgers as I type. I bought the on demand Baseball this year. My extravagance for the year.

1) NFL football - I have literally broke up with two girlfriends over watching NFL football and actually turned down sex with a girl when I was in grade 10 to watch my Broncos play(she dumped me on Monday at school) I also lied to a boss six years ago about how important it was that I start going to church with my daughter so I could have Sundays off. I've had to work every Sunday for the last 4 years so I rarely get a full day to watch football, but I plan to take this fall off with the sole purpose being to watch NFL football...There is really nothing better for me than watching NFL football all day while eating chips and pizza.....aside from my daughter it is my true love, lol

2) Soprano's...I agree this is the greatest show ever, I have seasons 1-3 on DVD. It's killing me right now because I moved to Edmonton for a few months and don't get season 5 right now http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif . I watched the first 4 episodes and then had to move so I'm avoiding all Soprano info until season 5 comes out on DVD....

3) Survivor - About the only show aside from the Soprano's that I actually make a conscious effort to watch, that said I haven't watched every season because not all "castaways" grab my attention. Watching that show and imagining myself on there amuses me though...yes I am a geek

4) SNL - I was a huge SNL fan as a kid growing up and then over the last couple years kind of got away from watching the show. The last 1.5 years though I've made an effort to either watch or tape every episode and while some do suck, all in all there isn't a funnier show on TV. Plus my crush on Tina Fey doesn't hurt

Those are about the only shows that I HAVE to watch...I used to live to watch cheers and remember being in grade four and had written "Sammy Malone" all over my French book, one day we had a substitute teacher and she was handing out all the assignment books, needless to say I was Sammy Malone for that day...still holds a special place in my heart tricking a teacher when I was 10 by being the biggest TV star in north America aside from maybe DR.Huxtable, lol . Honorable mention goes to Frasier, That 70's show and C.S.I....oh Simpson’s too....probably others but those are my favs

OhBaBy!!! I love me some Tina Fey!

But anyhow... my day doesnt usually end till about 8pm, so my TV time is limited.

Pretty much just SNL on staurday night, and The Simpsons on sunday.
During the week I watch Futurama and Family Guy on cartoon network at 11 and 11:30.

I dont have the patience to watch "reality TV" and I dont have the attention span to watch dramatic series...

(boy, I lead a rip-roaring wild life... *sigh*)

I don't watch TV. Hell I don't even own a TV. I move around a lot (because of my job) and I rent fully furnished appartments. Most don't have a TV and I never bothered to buy one (since I move a lot).

Since I am a "visual" (like most guys) if I had a TV I would probably spend most of my free time watching the crap they call TV programs. So I'll pass. The only thing that I do miss is the NFL games.

I have actually never watched a full episode of Friends in the 10 years its been on. Have I missed something? I don't think so.

I try not to watch too much TV...but I still make time for my fav's.

1)Deadwood- This show is great, and it reminds me of the Texas my Grandpa tells me about when he was growing up. It was such a different place, and its just cool to see someone put a respectable yet realistic perspective on the frontier and the frontiersman. He is a unique man, to say the least. (PS GB is not a Texan!)

2)Supercross/Motocross- Ive been in love with motocross since I was 4. My first bike was a lil' PW50...then a CR60...then Mom decides motocross is too dangerous and my pro career was over by the premature age of 7. Now all I have is my voyeuristic dreams of 90' triples and rythem sections. http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

3)Chapelle's Show- what did the five fingers say to the face?

Honorable mention:
-Sopranos
-Simpsons
-E!'s Best Week Ever
-Most Xtreme Challenge

<LI>That 70’s Show.[/list]That’s it. The only two shows I follow. My wife is into the whole WB thing, like Buffy, Angel, Charmed, but then she is only 24 years old.

Sports; I only watch the NFL and boxing.

The only show I watch with any regularity is SMALLVILLE. I watch it with the children each week. The girls are hot, the superman character is not too perfect (I hated the comic book growing up) but has some real character/backbone/morality, and the special effects well done.

Catch SIMPSONS all too often and embarrasingly find it funny.

Still watch SEINFELD.

There was some WB all star singer search recently in which they were looking for the worst singer as a practical joke _ I watched that for a few shows.

Would love to watch the SOPRANOS - I love mafia style movies - but can't afford cable.

I don't get to watch many sports shows due to my schedule - always catch some of the NBA playoffs, always catch the Superbowl of course, and a few times a year see some pro wrestling. I see baseball once or twice a year but only at a live game-same with hockey.

Is Tina Fey the coanchor of the news and a writer?

Sorry I'm getting on this late, but here it goes:

I don't have cable (GASP! really!) so I watch only a bit of TV. Plus, I'm too busy with work, the gym, social life, this DAMN BOARD to watch TV. &lt;G&gt;

#1) The Simpsons -- after like 15 years, they can still pull off a great episode
#2) Arrested Development -- very intelligent humor. If you haven't watched, give it a chance since it won't last long. It's simply too intelligent of a comedy for the American public.
#3) Will & Grace -- I love Karen...
#4) Family Guy -- can't wait until it returns to Fox this fall!

Shows I miss:
#1) Action -- remember this one with Jay
#2) The Critic -- laugh my ass off at this one... "When we first saw him, we thought he was a monkey. For the first five years, his name was Mr. Bip!"
#3) The Tick -- (can you tell I'm an animation nut? Of course, only the intelligent 'toons...) This was a great anti-superhero 'toon and way too funny and smart for Fox Kids, hence the reason it didn't last.

What's that? http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I swear I have no idea what's on TV these days...it's been too hectic lately to pay attention...then again, I can't say I miss it that much. Besides...I'm content watching old contests vids with PA! http://www.anabolicfitness.net/smileys/tounge[1].gif

Im glad this topic came back up, because Im completly shocked at what a piece of shit TV has become!
I mean, it was bad before, but now there is really nothing that I watch on TV at all till 11pm (Cartoon Network - Adult Swim).

Im so sick of reality TV...
