I am 5'7" but have a 5'10" wingspan. Most of this length is in my forearms and I am starting to believe that it is inhibiting muscular development in my arms, possibly due to the effects of leverage.
A few months ago I began moving my hands farther out on chest movements and have made great gains from doing so. Now I am trying to find out how to position my hands/arms in order to improve my bicep development; however, unlike chest I cannot move my hands out farther or the like. The only thing I can think of is doing more work that focuses on the top of the rep (i.e. with barbell curls only extending the bar halfway down on the eccentric portion). It may also help to use cheat curls.
Any other ideas?
