Hey everyone,

Some may remember me some may not. Recently I partially tore a muscle in my forearm just below my elbow.

The doctor did not give me a heal time nor a dont use it for a week. They just put a contraption on my arm forcing the muscle to stay straight.

They took it off now, but I am looking for some exercises that I can do to strengthen it.....

Any Ideas? Until then I will just :tvwatch:

check out EliteFTS - Powerlifting and Strength Training Products and Knowledge for Lifters, Athletes, Coaches, and Trainers (http://www.elitefts.com) and go to the q n a section and the rehab portion and post yr question.
the most knowledgeable powerlifters on the web that are available to answer questions will offer their advice for you.
i suggest seeing a trainer or at least a doctor learned in athletic injuries and their rehab - treatment. this guy sounds like he's just doing what he read in a book.

I would seek a little better advice from a doc... Muscle tears vary greatly in terms of severity and location. I have had a few that were minor enough to be back in the gym at 70% in a couple of weeks and I have had them keep me down for months....

Just below the elbow? Is it a forearm flexor?

You need to to talk to your Dr. He should be giving you alot more guidance than that. Also, I am guessing you have insurance? As for some PT sessions.
