Well...I was having a great day today, went to the Arnold Expo. It was great. Got home in good time, that was great. Got accepted to nursing school this fall, that was great.

Then the shit hit the fan.

Many of you remember my recent legal issues where I had to plea guilty to trespassing and sexual imposition based on the lies of a girl to get out of a felony burglary charge.

Well...in the paperwork for my acceptance to nursing school there is a criminal background check that says that I can never be a nurse if convicted of sexual imposition. So now my life's career and ambition is totally destroyed.

I can feel myself slipping back into depression and it sucks.

The legal system is so totally fucked up.

Looks like I'm gonna have to join the army again to have any chance at a decent career.

How about investigating this "rule" a little further before giving up?

If you really want to be a nurse, I think it would be worth your time to perhaps talk to a lawyer about this and/or sit down with the school director and present him your situation.

I can list several cases of guys who should have been out of school programs in which they made special allowances. I know of one kid who got kicked out of a major unversity - and deserved to be kicked out , even by his own admission - but went to the dean of the university's home and begged him for the sake of his mom to be allowed to continue - I know this as a fact. The dean said he wanted to just punch the kid in the nose but due to his apparent sincerity gave him one more chance and the ended up graduating most honorably.

Fight for this.

It's not something I can really argue. The disqualification is based on federal law. Senate bill 38 and 160.

Once you have committed a crime in this society you can longer become an employee who earns more than 20 dollars per hour. Most people just continue to commit crime since this is there only reasonable avenue of income. Others choose to become minimum wage earners for the remainder of their productive lives. Still others become entrepreneurs, which is your best bet for making a decent living. Then again there are laws that attempt to prevent people with criminal records from becoming investors/entrepreneurs.

Oh yes...And if you get an education or already have one and then attempt to get employed in your field of study you will most likely end up working at Vons, bagging groceries.

Formal education has always been tailored for the sheep and once your commit a felony your formal education has no impact on your employability.

This was put into place by people like me and the founders of this country who believe our current oligarchy to be the best form of government to rule the mindless and unintelligent masses.

Well if being a Nurse was your life's ambition then you should probably seek revenge on those who caused you such pain. It may make you feel better at their expense. Then again this may create more problems for you. It could also be fun, for the less developed individual.

Buy come crack and plant it, then call the DEA or local PD and claim that an acquaintance bought crack from said person, do it anonymously.

For anyone else who had small part in you pain you should print out bumper stickers that say "Proud member of NAMBLA" and place them on the bumpers of the victim’s car.

Make sure you take proper precautions relating to DNA and fingerprint analysis.

Whatever you do don't take your own life! You can always move in with your parents. There is always anti-d's that work like magic. Living at home when your 30 won't be so bad as long as you find another goal to work for! Get your head straight this is not the end of the world, unless you have nothing to fall back on and you have no money. In that case a life of crime may be your only option. Just make sure you keep your morals with you as you commit victimless crimes. Oh yeah and another thing two wrongs don't make a right!

Ha-ha...I would if there were no consequences; I am very aware of the consequences and thus have led a straight edge life. I have the fear of god in me of LE. I have led a saint like existence thus far. I do however have the mind of a criminal; I just don’t have the stupidity of one. I have never consumed by any method any street drug nor have I ever smoked a cigar nor cigarette, I have never indulged in alcohol to the point of drunkenness. I have never been questioned by LE let alone arrested for any reason. I have an irrational fear of police officers for reasons unknown to myself.

Can you get your record purged? Have you thought about being a physician's assistant instead of a nurse. the work is very similiar and perhaps the law doens't apply the same way. You can also become a PA in about half the time and still make money on par with a Nurse Practitioner.

From what I can tell you have one chance and I would take it if I were you. The girl. She's your only hope and she may have eased up a bit since the event.
If she recants, they can drop the imposition and leave the trespassing, after which you can have the record expunged. But admittedly getting her to do that is going to take some doing.
I don't know the girl so I can't say how you would go about it but I am sure there is an angle. There always is.

AMEN. last weekend, my girlfriend and I had a long discussion about why this is so, and how the media has propagated this societal disease of government dependency. Interesting that you bring this up. This is an example of how the survivalistic nature of intelligent and innovative individuals help to propagate the rest of the species, which may not be as deserving (evolutionarily speaking) to pass their genetic material to the next generation. And once that went into motion, government passed laws that proclaim it is a HUMAN RIGHT to receive these benefits derived from the intelligent minority.
