View Full Version : Sweater or No Sweater??

I was getting comments on my last post about my "Sweater" or "Fur" so I decided to shave it off for the first time. My woman is telling me that I should let it grow back, but I am not sure. Here is a couple pics side-by-side. Which looks better?
I am still bulking a little but I am planning to start cutting soon. I tore my Pec a couple months ago and had to go under the knife to get it fixed. You can see the scare on the left side.
If your woman listens to your suggestions and preferences about her appearance, then why not do the same for her. She's the one that's gotta look at you.
And frankly, it's 300 billion times easier and more comfortable to keep the fur than maintain the grooming.
If she's the type that just bitches then f her do whatever makes u happiest bro.

Dude, she may be saying she wants the fur back, but she deep down finds you more sexy without it. They get intimidated with change sometimes....
If you do not want the hassle of having to 'shave' it often, then just get a Body Groomer cutter to keep it groomed. Then when you really want to get more aerodynamic bust back out the razor. The trimmer/Body Groomer cutter may make it easier in the winter though, when shaving just isn't as high a priority as in the summer.

sweaterless! if it were just a little bit of hair (hot IMO) id say keep it.

True. Or she may be a full grown certified adult who says what she means. Some of us LIKE the masculine look.

It really doesn't matter now, once you have shaved it, you can't go back. LOL.
At least that was true for me, after I did it once, I have just made it part of the routine. If you don't keep up with it though, you will give her something to really gripe about.

Dude, I don't even know WHY you are asking anyone on this forum in the first place. Unless this is a shameless way to get folks to look at you shirtless?
Who do you care about that likes what you look like? Your girl or folks on here? If your woman likes hair, as real women should, then why ask?
Example; I've had a goatee since I left the Navy. One day I thought I'd shave it off, told my wife, she said cool. I walked out after shaving and she said "Eewwh, grow it back." I've never shaved it off again!! SS, RB

As the manwhore that I am... I like to offer each lover of mine a customized BFE, or "BoyFriend Experience". So I have no problem whatsoever catering my look and sexual technique to whatever her whim and fantasy is.
It is not every day that a woman has the pleasure to bask in the glory of a true stallion-like conquest such as myself, and I feel like I am obligated to accomodate her and give her her money's worth.
Certainly I wouldn't want to drive a Ferrarri that had a vinyl interior or ugly plastic hub caps instead of the appropriate rims.
You're welcome ladies.
----
That being said... it is a personal preference, and if you guys prefer the lower maintenance approach.. keep it. If you prefer the sleek approach, keep it!

I posted a picture the other day about my progress and people made a lot of comments about the "Sweater" from both men and woman. I just wanted to get people's opinion on it one way or the other. I was mainly looking for the woman's point of view because, I do like when they look at my shirtless. Hell, the main reason that I workout is to get woman to look at me and it seems to work well.

Honestly, either... No help, I know. You look fine either way.
My guy shaves, but the prickly thing does get bothersome.
But, you weren't so furry that it's obnoxious. If your girl likes the "fur", leave it. Isn't it her you'd rather please than the ladies here or elsewhere?

Shaving it all the time would be a pain in the ass but I do think it shows more tone and definition more without it. It is too new and different now for me to know which way I like it. I had a mustache at one point in my life that I finally shaved off and it look awhile to get customed to it but if I look back at my pictures, I looked like Flanders from Homer Simpson with it. It will take a bit to grow back and I will just need to make a decision.

I personally prefer a hairy chest on a man - as long as it's not so long and outta control that you can weave it into a blanket. Nasty.
As far as your pics, either way looks good to me :naughty:

Maybe just for the summer to see how things go, you can always grow back the coat for the winter, right? . ;)
I also agree with Qtip... you with hair is not bad AT ALL... you can easily go either way.

Enjoy it while it's black. Black, soft, curly, the girls dig it. Flash forward about twenty years... stiff, gray, coarse as boar's hair, so thick I found a small nest of ground squirrels in it. They were sleeping. Anyway, now I trim it and women are lovin' it again.... well one of them says she likes it.

Dude, when I shave chest and stomach, a few days later my wife says it is like f'n a porkypine with all the small hair growing back and it makes a rash all over the lady.. so...
It may look better to ladies, but it does not feel better! That is per Mrs. TrenAwoman

Gee..I kind of prefer it on :dunno: now if we were talking BACK hair..definitely off :puke: but chest hair, if it's not to extremes is very masculine :poser: anyway..who are you trying to please here..other people of your girl??? If your fine with it on and so is she..why go through all that upkeep ????

I have fetishes both ways - w/ no hair, you get to focus on all the detail, with hair, you get that amazing texture for running your fingers thru.
Ultra sasquatch is not enjoyable and that stuff I'd probably at least suggest a 1" setting on the hand clippers and just say no to back hair. Otherwise, try both / either - summer / winter. Or not. :)

This is exactly the complaint that I get from her after I shaved it off. It is just too much work to keep it up all the time so I am just going to keep it trimmed down. She shaves in other places too and I have to agree, I do not like the face burns if she does not keep it up ;)
I am just going to keep it trimmed at this point.

But I still like to see the detail of the no hair as Sass mentions :yumyum:. And I don't mind the stubble either.

BTW, I don't groom. But I had to shave my 'stache off, 'cause as I got older & it started to grey, it got coarser. No fun for da ladee.
