You said that we would continue in January http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

So far...
1. Your team, the Broncos which you ranked #3 in football, got killed and are one and done.
2. The Rams, who you thought were unstoppable at home and who I said sucked, lost at home.
3. The Chiefs lost at home, making the short cameo that I predicted.
4. The Eagles beat a damn good team and still gave up a lot of yards. And for those who know anything the Packers scored both their TD's on Sheldon Brown, one of the Eagles back up cornerbacks. Their Pro Bowl corner Troy Vincent wasnt playing due to a hip injury.

Now I will lay it all out...do I think the Eagles will win the Super Bowl (or even next week)? I dont know. I am not saying they will, the run D might still be their downfall next week. I am saying however that due to recent events I have been proven partially right on those things we debated and you have been partially wrong.

I will be the first to admit when I am wrong...Id like to see you say it too.

My predictions for the rest of the year....

Eagles vs. Indy in the Bowl...Indy wins.

The Eagles have finally just gone over the injury threshold. You cant lose your best defensive performer (one of the D guys who was left at this point that is) in Carlos Emmons and lose your second best offensive player Brian Westbrook in consecutive weeks and continue to win in the playoffs against a healthy team with all its top weapons...the Colts. They have had 3 Pro Bowl players miss most of the year, their best offensive weapon miss games and out for the year now. They lost an entire defensive line to Injured Reserve this year which as pointed out a couple weeks ago on FOX during a broadcast could be a decent starting D line for other teams.

Your team played well today, I told my friend today as we were watching the game, it's going to come down to the very end and Philly will win and you'll be asking yourself how the hell did they win that game. You can say you were right I was wrong all you want, that doesn't offend me. If Philly doesn't convert on 4th and 26 I wouldn't have been posting that I told you so. Yes Denver got killed and Yes KC lost at home, I never claimed KC was that good. I've claimed all along that NE is the best team in football and I stick to that. The rams were unstoppable at home, but they got stopped, what more would you like me to say there. So I'm not sure exactly what you want me to admit to here but I'm glad your team is still around, cuz mine isn't http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'll tell you what...when GB had the ball at the end with that 4th and 1 looming I thought that you were going to be right, that they were going to run and get the 1st down and the Eagles would lose.

J...Do you think the Broncos will make big changes in the offseason? Do you think they will stick with Plummer?

Yes they should have ran it on 4th and 1 no question, by not running in that situation you are in effect telling the O-line and Green that you don't have faith in them gaining 1 yard in the most crucial time of the game. You are also throwing away the chance to end the game for a net gain of 19 yards on the punt, very very very poor coaching. Coulda woulda shoulda, doesn't matter the Eagles won and I'm not going to argue they didn't deserve too, you make your own breaks and they capitilized on the Packers mistakes. As far as my broncos go, well.....I'm not that suprised really by the Indy game, the KC game today was exactly the same, the only difference was the KC offence was able to score and they had a good special teams play. If that game had been played in Indy I'd be suprised if KC scored 14 points. Manning is playing as well as I've ever seen anyone play and they will be very tough to beat. I don't think my broncos need too much, they will need another wideout as Ed and Rod Smith aren't getting any younger and they will need a TE as Sharpe has at most probably 1 more year in his future plans. They will totally stay with Plummer he was great for them this year and gave them the element they need to run their offence so well, their running game strives on the play action and mis-direction plays that you need a mobile QB for. On the D side they'll be fine, they finished in the top 5 in total d and will have pro bowlers Mobley and Ian Gold back at LB next year. The problem is when I look at who they have to play next year I see them finishing 8-8 http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

PS.Peter King the head NFL writer for Sports Illustrated had the Broncos ranked #3 going in to the playoffs too http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif (NE and Philly were #1,#2)

I've said since november the Pats are the best team in football, and I won't dog your eagles because I don't do that after a team loses http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well if you wont then I will http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

They f***in blew!!!!!!

I really hope Reid gets his head out of his a$$ and gets some playmakers on this team. They just had way too many injuries and when that happens it shows your weaknesses. They just dont have any game breakers besides McNabb and Westbrook. I hope they trade up in the draft to get one of the good receivers. Everyone has been pleading for one for years now and now it has just run over.

I'll tell you what though, they are going to be a threat again next year after they upgrade because the guys that they are losing are old and there are good young guys to replace them. They will be in the playoffs again and this time a threat to win it all....(sounds redundant now huh http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif )

And not trying to sound like a sorry loser but friday last week I told the guys at work that I was switching my pick and taking the Pats. They thought I was crazy but they Pats won.

I kept the Eagles but obviously I was wrong on that one.

And J...I hope you dont think I dogged your team?
