I’m tickled to death with this thing. Best gift ever; 60 streams of commercial free music. I love the Hard Attack, Big Rock, and First Wave Alternative channels to name a few. Anybody else get or have a satellite radio? I got the portable plug-n-play model with the home and car kits. Finally I can listen to good music without blathering deejays.

I was thinking of getting XM radio because I get terrible reception where i live. Does sattelite radio still get all the regular am/fm stations but with better reception? I'm mainly interested in sports talk radio besides the commercial free stations.

No. They have their own lineup of radio stations. Check out What’s on SIRIUS (http://www.sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/CachedPage&c=Page&cid=1065475754115) for a complete listing. Also note that XM is NOT commercial free but Sirius is 100% commercial free. You’ll hear a deejay come on every once in a while, but that’s about it.

Last night I discovered the Comedy Channel. Pretty cool channel; they were playing Jeff Foxworthy.

Another cool feature is the Memo function. Say you are listening to a song and you’re really diggin’ it. You press the Memo button and it stores the Artist and Song Title for you to recall later. Also, anytime one of the songs that you stored is being played on any of the stations, it will notify you.

I would get it but Ula doesn't want to because there is no Euro-Dance on it. But they have it on Digitally Imported so at least she can listen to it on the computers we have all over the house.
In case no one is familiar with DI it's at http://www.digitallyimported.com/

Just wondering if you or your wife has heard any of Jeff Beck’s latest tunes? He’s going through a techno phase and it’s a cool sound if you’re into that stuff. The “Who Else?” record specifically. He took that Euro-Dance sound, gave it a bit of a harder edge, and of course added his phenomenal guitar playing. It’s an amazing album. The new one, titled “Jeff” is good also, but not as good as Who Else?
