Damn, if you saw the news about the earth quake in CA, and saw the buildings collapsed in Paso Robles, that is 6 blocks from my house!!

This quake just started to rumble my house, then it just got massive. I have been in many quakes, but I couldn't even stand up on my own. Damn near got shaken to teh ground! Scared the shit out of me! I just kept thinking it will just be a little one, but it just got worse and worse. I thought my second floor was going to collapse!

My house just shook everything off, the walls, broken glass every where! I lost 1 TV, and alot of other stuff. My walls are cracked and plaster is all over too! My mother-in-laws house is way worse. She had glass nick-nacks everywhere.

We are all ok though. At least no one in my family got hurt. Just alot of emotional women.

Back to cleaning up my house. But I am leaving stuff of the walls, as we are still having

Yeah they're fun aren't they?
When I lived in San Diego I experienced it. As things were falling all around me I remember looking out at the 30' round pool and seeing the water being sloshed from side to side like 3 year old with a bowl of water. Fun stuff.

I hope no one was injured.

Dragon - Good to hear everyone is Ok. We felt it down here in Orange County. My office is on the 19th floor and the building is on rollers. We were rockin' for sure. My staff thought they were having alcohol induced flashbacks.

Take care. I have family up that way - not as North as PRobles but they are all safe. Take care of your Mom - she needs you. http://anabolicfitness.infopop.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

For all you Californians here's a little something to show you that an earth quake will actually end up saving your life

Glad to hear everybody's OK with ya... I felt it strongly more than a hundred miles north of you, that was a friggin big one...

I was in the Bay Area for the Loma Prieta quake in 1989 and still get an adrenaline rush and an irrational love for doorways even with small ones.

Thanks for the support!! My town is pretty messed up. I went downtown to look at the major damamge myself and it is bad. At least 40 buildings either collapsed or are condemed here.

X-Mas night was teh first night I was not wokken up in the middle of the night with an aftershock shaking up my house. Trully a great gift! The after shocks have been pretty decent in size too. But just knocked over a couple of books and stuff.

I just hope it is over soon. We have had over 800 after shocks! It is killing every ones nerves. My self included. Even the smallest shake and I am grabbing my baby girl and heading for safety!
